What people are saying.

After years of challenges finding a safe and inviting place to build a movement practice, I have found a gem that is All Bodies. The facilities are clean and comfortable, the staff are knowledgeable, kind, and passionate, the classes are plenty and varied, and they truly have a safe environment for *all bodies*. As a disabled, hypermobile individual, my quality of life has improved drastically since I started coming here and finding my strength in community. I encourage anyone with gym anxiety to make it out and see how empowering it can be to learn to move in a way that honors your body. Thank you to Betsy and her team for making this place a shining example of how inclusive a gym can be!

At the last wedding I attended, I was able to get low, low, low, low-er than ever before! Thanks All Bodies!

I've been doing private virtual training with Betsy at All Bodies Movement for about a year now and it has greatly improved my mobility and quality of life! I have a chronic illness and spent years struggling to find sustainable movement options without causing further pain and fatigue. Betsy has helped me learn how to listen to my body and pace myself while also building strength and mobility. Overall, my pain and fatigue have drastically decreased, and I am able to move my body in ways that I didn't think I'd ever be able to do enjoyably. All Bodies Movement has helped me repair my relationship with movement and my body, and I would highly recommend them!

All Bodies is changing the world! This is the one place on planet earth I feel free from the agenda of what my body "should" do or be. The teachers and participants are so friendly, and it feels so good to work out in a place that centers our humanity.  It's truly unlike any other place I've ever experienced.  I love All Bodies!

I’ve never been a gym person and I’ve always been anxious about strength training. My body has been lots of sizes, and part of going to the gym means feeling judged or having external expectations put on my body. I can’t put into words how great it felt to walk into a gym where I knew there’d be no mirrors, no judgment, and no pressure. Betsy and her team gave me the warmest welcome, and I already feel like I have a community after just a few weeks of attending. The time passes so quickly and I get 1:1 support while learning a new movement. Can’t recommend it enough!

A wonderful environment! Robin is a great trainer who listens to clients and adapts plans as needed. The classes are loads of fun! No pressure to do what doesn’t feel right to you and can be enjoyed by a range of levels

When I bruised my sternum it was very difficult to get out of bed. Betsy taught me how to use different muscles to accomplish different moves, so I was able to get up with minimal pain. I love working with her and with Sadie.

If you’re looking for a gym in Asheville - particularly if you’re nervous about being in a gym setting, or don’t know where to begin - I’d highly recommend All Bodies. Going there got me through a very difficult time in my life, and the morning classes remain a bright spot in my days. Definitely my favorite gym that I’ve ever been a member of!

I have nothing but positive things to say about all bodies movement and wellness! I have been working out with them for over a year. I feel incredibly supported and respected in my movement practice. I’m so grateful for the community they have created. The gym is also filled with accessible equipment and very clean.  I recently had the opportunity to receive a massage/body work session with Angela. This was incredibly safe, supportive, and much needed! It was helpful to my physical and mental health. Thank you All Bodies for all that you do!

I’ve been coming to All Bodies group training classes for almost six months! I can honestly say that I feel much stronger and more confident in my body, but I also feel I’ve gained a new community. Betsy, Sadie, Jessica, and all the students are super fun loving a joy to workout with. Each trainer is grounded, knowledgeable, and will push you just as much as you need or want, while also tuning into any unique challenges you might face. Betsy curates a special vibe that will brighten your day, give you hope for humanity, AND keep you fit.

The vibe here is really welcoming and I've never heard or seen (on the walls!) so much inclusive language in a workout space. The group class I attended felt almost like personal training within a small group. Support was tailored to me and my body, which felt really good.

All Bodies is a haven in Asheville--a space of radical hospitality and joyful embodiment. Workouts are designed to meet each human exactly where we are. You leave stronger, more connected, and buoyed by the real truth that all bodies are good bodies. This is a culture of deep inclusion and play.

I am so grateful that a friend told me about All Bodies Movement!!  This is a gym where the trainers completely meet you where are you are… And there are no mirrors!  As a fat, queer woman I feel completely at home in this gym, especially during small group strength classes.
